"tathā ca" ityādinā jñāpanaprayojanaṃ darśayati tadevametasmāt? pratiṣedhādarthadvayaṃ jñāpyate. evañca kṛtvā--rājapuruṣa ityatra prātipadikasaṃjñāyāṃ satyāṃ nalopaśca bhavati. bhasaṃjñāyāmasatyāṃ "allopo'naḥ" 6.4.134 ityalopaśca na bhavati. na bhasaṃjñābhāvancetyasyeha "yathodderśa saṃjñāparibhāṣam()" (vyā.pa.59) ityasmin? darśane prayojanaṃ veditavyam(). "vaktavyaḥ" iti. vyākhyeya ityarthaḥ. tatredaṃ vyākhyānam()--"svarito dānudāttaṃ padādau" 8.2.6 ityataḥ "vā" ityanuvatrtate, sā ca vyavasthitavibhāṣā, tena ṅāvuttarapade na bhaviṣyatauti.
