upasaṃkhyānaśabdo'tra pratipādane vatrtate. ahno rūvidhau katrtavye rūpādiṣu rutvasya pratipādanaṃ katrtavyamityarthaḥ. tatredaṃ pratipādanam()--pūrvasūtrādiha cakāro'nuvatrtate, sa cānuktasamuccayārthaḥ, tenāhro rūpādiṣu rutvaṃ bhaviṣyatīti. "ahorūpam()" iti. ahno rūpamiti ṣaṣṭhīsamāsaḥ. kathaṃ punā rātriśabda ucyamānaṃ rutvaṃ rātraśabde bhavati? sthānivadbhāvāt(), ekadeśavikṛtasyānanyatvādvā. rātraśabdāsya tu grahaṇaṃ na kṛtam(), rātriśabdasyāpi yathā syāt()--gatamaho rātrirāgateti. etaccolakṣaṇam,`mṛjervṛddhiḥ'iti sūtre'pi tatprayogāt. rajjusṛṅbhyāmati. nanu
bhyāmpratyayojhalādirakidbhavatīti `sṛjidṛśoḥ'ityamāgamaḥ syāt. maivam. dhātoḥ
svarūpeṇānupādānāditi śaṅkyam, dhātorucyamānaṃ kāryaṃ tatpratyaya eveti
pariṣkārāt. evaṃ ca `prasṛṅbhyāṃ' `prasṛṅbhi'rityādau nāyaṃ doṣaḥ parsajyate.
etacca mṛjerbuddhi`riti sūtre bhāṣye spaṣṭam. nanu dhātorucyamānaṃ kāryaṃ
tatpratyaya eveti cet `dhiyau'`dhiyaḥ', `bhuvau'bhuvaḥ ityādaviyaṅuvaṅau na syātāṃ, kiṃtu
`cikṣiyatuḥ'`luluvatu'rityādāveva syātām. satyaṃ. vastugatyā dhātorevācyamānaṃ
kāryamiyaṅādikaṃ na bhavati kintvaṅgasyocyamānamiti vaiṣamyāt. kutvāpavāda iti.
ṣatvasūtre `sṛjamṛjayaje'ti viśiṣya grahaṇāditi bhāvaḥ. asṛkśabdastviti. etacca
kṣīrasvāmigranthe spaṣṭam. ṛjpratyaye bodhya iti. yadyapyasminpakṣe svaro
bhidyate, tathāpi loke svarasyā'nāraharādvede tu bāhulakādiṣṭaḥsvaraḥ sidhyatīti
bhāvaḥ.
vārttikaṃ–bahūrji pratiṣedhaḥ,' `antyātpūrvaṃ numameke'iti. bhāṣye tu acaḥ
paroyo jhaltadantasya numityāśritya parthamavārtikaṃ pratyākhyātam. evaṃ ca
`ūrnjī'tyatra num durlabhaḥ. kiṃca `urdamāne kriḍāyāṃ ca', `garhaṃ garhāyām'.
ityādīnāṃ kvibantānāṃ bhāṣyamate numā na bhāvyameveti bodhyam. allopasya
sthānivattvāditi. `kvau luptaṃ na sthānivat'iti tu nehāśrīyate, tasya
kvācitkatvāt. `kvau vidhiṃ parti na sthāniva'dityasyaiva sārvatrikatvāditi
bhāvaḥ. jāyante nava sau,tathā'mi ca nava, bhyrāṃbhisbhyasāṃ saṅgame–ṣaṭsaṅkhyāni, navaiva
supyatha jasi triṇyeva, tadvacchasi. catvāryanyavacaḥsu kasya vibudhāḥ. śabdasya rūpāṇi
tajjānantu pratibhā'sti cennigadituṃ ṣāṇmāsiko'trāvadhiḥ.'iti narapatisabhāyāṃ
kvacitkenacitprācīnena kṛtasyākṣepasya prācīnaireva paṇḍitaiḥ kaiścit
`gavākchabdasye'tyādinā `vibhāvaye'tyantena ślokadvayena sabhādhānanuktam. tadeva
ślokadvayaṃ prakṛtopayogādāha–gavākchabdasya rūpāṇīti. añcatergatau nalopaḥ, pūjāyāṃ
tu netyāśayenāha—arcāgatibhedata iti. ādyāditvāttasiḥ.
pūjāgatyarthabhedenāṣa'sandhyavaṅādibhirnavādhikaśataṃ rūpāṇi bodhyānītyarthaḥ.
uktasaṅkhyāpayati–svamsupsviti. `pratyeka'miti śeṣaḥ. evamagre'pi `ṣaṭ'
`trīṇi'`catvārī'tyatrāpi bodhyam. rūpāṇīti. saṅkalanayā navādhikaśataṃ rūpāṇītyarthaḥ.

"aṇo'pargṛhre"tyanunāsikastu nāsti, pargṛhratvāt. jasi ñadvitvasyānunāsikasya ca vikalpāt dvādaśa. saṅkalanayāṃ saptatiṃ()raśat(37). evaṃ dvitīyāyāmapi vibhaktau saptatiṃ()raśat. tathā ca saṅkalanayā catuḥsaptati(74)ṭāyāṃ caturṇāṃ madhye pūjārthānāṃ trayāṇāṃ ñadvitve sapta. teṣāṃ ca saptānāmanunāsikacaturdaśa. saṅkalanayā aṣṭāśītiḥ(88). bhyāmi ṣaṭsu rūpeṣu bhātpūrvasya dvitve dvādaśa, teṣāṃ dvādaśānāmapi "yaṇo mayaḥ"iti yadvitve caturviṃśatiḥ, teṣāmapi makārasya dvitve'ṣṭacatvāriṃśat. saṃkalanayā ṣaṭ()tiṃ()raśadadhikaṃ śatam. bhisi caturviṃśatiḥ,bhāt pūrvasya visargasya ca dvitvātsaṅkalanayā ṣaṣṭa()uttaraśatam. ṅayi caturṇā madhye pūjārthānāṃ trayāṇāṃ ñadvikne sapta. anunāsikastu nāsti, ekārasyānaṇtvāt. saṅkalanayā saptottaraṣaṣṭha()dhikaṃ śatadvayam. ṅasau caturṇā madhye ñadvitve sapta. teṣāṃ tu saptānāṃ visargadvitve caturdaśa. saṅkalanayā saptottarasaptatyadhikaṃ śatadvayam. ṅasau caturṇāṃ madhye ñadvitve sapta. teṣāṃ tu saptānāṃ visargadvitve caturdaśa. saṅkalanayā spatottarasaptatyadhikaṃ śatadvayam. bhyāmbhyāsoḥ prāgvadeva pratyekamaṣṭacatvāriṃśat. saṅkalanayā trisaptatyadhikaṃ śatatrayam. ṅasāvivaṅasosāmṅiosityatrāpi pratyekaṃ caturdaśa. caturṣu rūpeṣu madhye ñadvitve saptānāmapyantyasya dvitvāt. ṅau tu saptānāmapyantyasya "aṇo'pragṛhrasye"ti vaikalpikānunāsikaparvṛtteḥ saṅkalanayā tricatvāriṃśadadhikaṃ śatacatuṣṭayam. supi gatyarthe trayāṇāṃ kadvitve ṣaṭ. teṣāṃ tu "khayaḥ śaraḥ"iti ṣadvitve dvādaśa. ukārasyānunāsike caturviṃśatiḥ. saṅkalanayā saptottaraṣaṣṭha()dhikaṃ śatacatuṣṭayam. pūjāyāṃ tu kugabhāve trayāṇāṃ ṅakāradvitve'nunāsike ca dvādaśa. kukpakṣe tu cayo dvitāyādeśe ṣaṭ. ṣaṣṇāṃ ṅaṣayrordvitve'nunāsike cā'ṣṭacatvāriṃśat. saṅkalanayā saptaviṃśatyadhikā pañcaśatītyarthaḥ. tiraścī iti. bhatvāt--"acaḥ" ityallopaḥ.
