asiddhatvāt ghilakṣaṇo nābhāvo na syāt. kṛte tu nābhāve mubhāvasya asiddhatvāt,
supi ca 7-3-102 iti dīrghatvaṃ yat prāpnoti, tat sannipātalakṣaṇo
vidhiranimittaṃ tadvighātasya iti na bhavati. athavā yogadvayam idam ubhayārthaṃ tantreṇa
uccāritam. atha vā ne parato yat prāpnoti tasmin kartavye mubhāvo na asiddhaḥ

udātto yathā syāt. āy kumāryā idam. katham idam udāharaṇam yadi udāttayaṇo

kṛte, matuvaso ru mambuddhau chandasi 8-3-1 iti rutvam, tasya saṃyogāntasya lopasya
asiddhatvāt haśi ca 6-1-114 iti utvaṃ na prāpnoti. sijlopa ekādeśe siddho
vaktavyaḥ. alāvīt. apāvīt. iṭa īṭi 8-2-29 iti sijlopasya siddhatvāt

dvyajanāt 6-1-205 ityeṣa svaro na prāpnoti, kṣībena tarati kṣībikaḥ iti
dvyajalakṣaṇaṣṭhan na prapnoti. yadā tu takāralopo nipātyate, tadā tasya
asiddhatvātiḍāgamaḥ prāpnoti. plutavikārastugvidhau che siddho vaktavyaḥ.

hrasvalakṣaṇo nityas tug na prāpnoti. ścutvaṃ dhuṭi siddhaṃ vaktavyam.
ścyutir kṣaraṇe ityayaṃ dhātuḥ sakārādiḥ paṭhyate, tasya ścutvasya asiddhatvātaṭ

"atha vā" ityādi. yathaikena hi ka ito dhāvatīti pṛṣṭo'pareṇāpi kiṃvarṇo dhāvatīti praśne kaścinnipuṇamatistantreṇa vākyadvayamuttarayati--()oto dhāvatīti, tathehāpi yogadvayametat? tantreṇoccaritam(). tatra dvitīyasya yogasya na parato yat? prāpnoti tasmin? katrtavyaṃ bhubhāvo nāsiddha ityeva sūtrārthaḥ. tena dīrghatvaṃ na bhaviṣyati.
