vadhādeśapakṣe ityarthaḥ avadhiṣātāmiti. `ātmanepadeṣvanyatasyā'miti vadhādeśasyāpi
pākṣikatayā'prāptepi vadhādeśe ciṇvattvasyārambhannāpavādatvamiti bhāvaḥ. nanu ciṇi
vadhādeśasya dṛṣṭatvātsyādiṣu ciṇvattvādvadhādeśaḥ syādityāśaṅkya pariharati– na
cetyādinā. āṅgasyaiveti. vadhādeśastu dvaitīyīkaḥ, na tvaṅgādhikārastha iti bhāvaḥ. atha
`graha upādāne' ityasmādadupadhātkarmalakāre udāharati– gṛhrate iti. `grahijye'ti
saṃprasāraṇam. atha luṭi tāsi ciṇvadiṭi `graho'liṭī'ti dīrghamāśaṅkyāha– ciṇvadiṭo
na dīrghatvamiti. kuta ityata āha– prakṛtasyeti. valādilakṣaṇasya iṭaḥ
prakṛtatvāttasyaiva `graho'liṭī'ti dīrghavidhau grahaṇaṃ natu ciṇvadiṭa iti bhāṣye

ciṇvattvā'bhāve tvāha–sicaḥ kittvādamneti. `liṅsicāvātmanepadeṣu' iti sicaḥ
kittvāt `sṛjidṛśo'rityamna bhavati, akitīti paryudāsādityarthaḥ. atha gṛ?dhātoḥ
karmalakāre yaki ṛta ittve `hali ce'ti dīrghe– gīryate. jagare. luṭi tāsi
ciṇvattvapakṣe– gāritā. ciṇvattvā'bhāve valādilakṣaṇe iṭi guṇe raparatve– garitā
garītā. `vṛ?to ve'ti vā dīrghaḥ. gāriṣyate gariṣyate garīṣyate. gīryatām. agīryata.
gīryeta. gāriṣīṣṭa. ciṇvattvā'bhāvapakṣe tu `liṅsicorātmanepadeṣu' iti
iḍvikalpaḥ. iḍabhāvapakṣe `uśce'ti kittvam. ittvam. raparatvam. `hali ce'ti

agīrṣātām- agariṣātāmiti siddhavatkṛtya āha– luṅi dhvami caturadhikaṃ śatamiti.
`rūpāṇī'ti śeṣaḥ. tadevopapādayati– tathāhiti. agāridhvamiti. gṛ? s dhvam iti sthite
ciṇvadiṭi vṛddhau raparatve `dhice'ti salope rūpamiti bhāvaḥ. dvitīye tviṭīti.
ciṇvadiḍabhāvapapakṣe valāditalakṣaṇe sica iṭi ṛkārasya guṇe rapatve `dhi ce'ti salope `vato
vā' iti dīrghavikalpe agaridhvam, agarīdhvamiti rūpadvayamityarthaḥ. eṣāmiti. eṣāṃ
trayāṇāṃ madhye ekaikasmin rephasya `aci vibhāṣe'ti latvam. `vibhāṣeṭaḥ' iti vā dhasya
ḍhatvam. tathā dhasya,tadādeśaḍhasya,vasya, masya ca dvitvatrayamityevaṃ pañca
vaikalpikānītyarthaḥ tatra dhaḍhayormasya ca `anaci ce'ti dvitvavikalpaḥ. vakārasya tu
`maya' iti pañcamīmāśritya `yaṇo mayaḥ' iti dvitvavikalpaiti vivekaḥ. yadyapi

ittve raparatve `hali ce'tidīrge rephādiṇaḥ paratvāt `iṇaḥ ṣīdhva'miti nityaṃ ḍhatve
argīḍhvamiti rūpamityarthaḥ. ḍhavamānāmiti. ḍhasya `aco rahābhyā'miti dvitvavikalpe
ekaḍhaṃ dviḍhamiti dve rūpe. tayorvasya `yaṇo mayaḥ' iti dvitvavikalpe ekave dve ,

"ātmanepadeṣvanyatasyā"miti vadhādeśasyāpi pākṣikatayā'prāptepi vadhādeśe ciṇvattvasyārambhannāpavādatvamiti bhāvaḥ. nanu ciṇi vadhādeśasya dṛṣṭatvātsyādiṣu ciṇvattvādvadhādeśaḥ syādityāśaṅkya pariharati-- na cetyādinā. āṅgasyaiveti. vadhādeśastu dvaitīyīkaḥ, na tvaṅgādhikārastha iti bhāvaḥ. atha "graha upādāne" ityasmādadupadhātkarmalakāre udāharati-- gṛhrate iti. "grahijye"ti saṃprasāraṇam. atha luṭi tāsi ciṇvadiṭi "graho'liṭī"ti dīrghamāśaṅkyāha-- ciṇvadiṭo na dīrghatvamiti. kuta ityata āha-- prakṛtasyeti. valādilakṣaṇasya iṭaḥ prakṛtatvāttasyaiva "graho'liṭī"ti dīrghavidhau grahaṇaṃ natu ciṇvadiṭa iti bhāṣye spaṣṭam. atha dṛśeḥ karmalakāre udāharati-- dṛśyate iti. liṭi- dadṛśe. luṭi tāsi ciṇvadiṭpakṣe-- darśitā. ciṇvattvā'bāve "sṛjidṛśo"rityam. draṣṭā.darśiṣyate. drakṣyate. darśiṣīṣṭa. ciṇvadiḍabhāve tu "liṅsicāvātmanepadeṣu" iti sicaḥ kittvāt "sṛjidṛśo"rityamna. nāpi laghūpadhaguṇaḥ. dṛkṣīṣṭa. adarśīti.ciṇi laghūpadhaguṇaḥ. adarśiṣātāmiti. ciṇvadiṭi rūpam. ciṇvattvā'bhāve tvāha--sicaḥ kittvādamneti. "rūpāṇī"ti śeṣaḥ. tadevopapādayati-- tathāhiti. agāridhvamiti. gṛ? s dhvam iti sthite ciṇvadiṭi vṛddhau raparatve "dhice"ti salope rūpamiti bhāvaḥ. dvitīye tviṭīti. ciṇvadiḍabhāvapapakṣe valāditalakṣaṇe sica iṭi ṛkārasya guṇe rapatve "dhi ce"ti salope "vato vā" iti dīrghavikalpe agaridhvam, agarīdhvamiti rūpadvayamityarthaḥ. eṣāmiti. eṣāṃ trayāṇāṃ madhye ekaikasmin rephasya "aci vibhāṣe"ti latvam. "vibhāṣeṭaḥ" iti vā dhasya ḍhatvam. tathā dhasya,tadādeśaḍhasya,vasya, masya ca dvitvatrayamityevaṃ pañca vaikalpikānītyarthaḥ tatra dhaḍhayormasya ca "anaci ce"ti dvitvavikalpaḥ. vakārasya tu "maya" iti pañcamīmāśritya "yaṇo mayaḥ" iti dvitvavikalpaiti vivekaḥ. yadyapi dhaḍhayorvasya masay ca dvitvacatuṣṭayamiti vaktumucitaṃ, tathāpi ḍhasya dhasthānikatayā dhaḍhayorekatvamabhipretya "dvitvatraya"mityuktiḥ. itthamiti. evaṃ ca trayāṇāmeṣāṃ latvavikalpe rephavanti trīṇi, lakāravanti trīṇīti ṣaṭ (6). eṣu ṣaṭsu dhasya dvitvavikalpe ekadhāni ṣaṭ, dvidhāni ca ṣaḍiti dvādaśa (12). tathā rephavatsu triṣu lakāravatsu ca triṣu ḍhasya dvitvavikalpe ekaḍhāni ṣaṭ, dviḍhāni ca ṣaḍiti dvādaśa (12). ubhayeṣāmapi dvādaśānāṃ melane caturviṃśatiḥ.
