Description:

Even so in a new derivative from this stem ending in (( ha)), formed with a Taddhita affix having an indicatory ((ñ)), ((ṇ)) or ((k)), there is vṛiddhi substitution for the first vowel of the second member, and optionally for the first vowel of the first member, in ((pravāhaṇeya)) and ((prāvāhaṇeya))|| Source: Aṣṭādhyāyī 2.0
