ākārarūpādāpaḥ parasya ṅitaḥ supo vihitasya yāṭo bahvāśrayatvena bahiraṅgatvāt.
ṅerāmamapi jarasādeśo nityatvābdādhate. na cākārarūpābantātparasya ṅerāmi kṛte
saṃnipātaparibhāṣayā jarasādeśasyā'pravṛtterna tasya nityateti vācyam, rūpamālāyāṃ
`jarasī'ityuktatvādiṣṭānurodhenoktaparibhāṣāyā anityatvābhyupagame bādhakā'bhāvāditi.
svāśrayamiti. yañādisubāśrayaṃ. tannimittakamityarthaḥ. yañādisupa eva
yāḍādamāpādanātsvaśabdena tatparāmṛśyate. sthānivadbhāneveti. na caivaṃ
lakṣaṇikatvātkathamiha yāṭ la syāditi vācyam, atideśaviṣaye
lakṣaṇapratipadoktaparibhāṣāyāḥ pravṛttāvatideśasya vaiyathryāpatteḥ. ato vyācaṣṭe
ābantaṃ yadaṅgamiti. `yasmātpratyayavidhistadādestadantasya grahaṇa'miti
niyamādatikhaṭveti yadaṅgaṃ tadābantaṃ na bhavati, yaccābantaṃ `khaṭve'ti, tadaṅgaṃ na bhavatīti
nātra #āḍādamaprasaktiriti bhāvaḥ. atra navyāḥ–pratyayagrahaṇe
tadantagrahaṇa'mityābgrahaṇenābantaṃ gṛhrate. abantasyāṅgaviśeṣaṇe
tvābantāntagrahaṇadatikhaṭvāyetyatroktadoṣatādavasthamiti yadyucyate,
tahrraṅgenābantaṃ viśeṣyatām—`aṅgasaṃjñakaṃ yadābanta'miti, tathai ca
noktātiprasaṅgaśaṅkāleśa ityāhuḥ. strīpratyaye tadādiniyamo netyāśaṅkyāha–
upasarjameti. ayaṃ bhāvaḥ–`strīpratyaye cānupalarjane ne'tyanupasarjanastrīpratyaye
tadādiniyamapratiṣedho vakṣyate na tūpasarjane'pi. ataeva
paramakārīṣagandhaputravadatikārīṣagandhyaputra ityatra `ṣyaṅaḥ saṃprasāraṇaṃ
putrapatyostatpuruṣe'iti saṃprasāraṇaṃ na bhavati. atikārīṣagandhyasya hi
ṣyahantatvā'bhāvāt. na ca `bahuśreyasī'–tyatra `śreyasī'tyuttarabhāgasya
ṅyantatvādya thā halṅyādilopaḥ pravartate tathā tatrāpyuttarabhāgasya
ṣyaṅantatvātsaṃprasāraṇaṃ syādeveti śaṅkyaṃ, pūrvapadasya ṣyaṅantasya
putrapatyoruttacarapadayoḥ saṃprasāraṇamiti `ṣyaṅaḥ saṃprasāraṇa'mityatraiva
vakṣyamāṇatvāt.
