anādare' ghaṭādiḥ. mitāṃ hyasve kartavya eca ik. hiḍayati. atra ciṇṇamuloḥ
kṛtayohryasve vikalpyamāne ahiḍi aheḍi iti syāt. dīrghe tu–ahiḍi ahīḍīti
bhavati. etaccātraiva sūtre kaiyaṭe spaṣṭam. śaṃśāmitetyādi. ciṇiaśaṃmi. aśaṃśāmi.

yaṅo'llopasya sthānivattvena
ṇicparatvā'bhāvādupadhādīrghasyopadhāvṛddheścā'pravṛtteḥ. tathā ca
phalabhedāddīrghagrahaṇapratyākhyānaṃ na yujyata iti bhāvaḥ. śamyate munineti.
