"pitṛvyamātulamātāmahe"ti sūtrasthamidaṃ vacanam. tacca "pitāmahī"ti rūpasiddhyarthamavaśyaṃ vaktavyamiti na vārtiksya vaiyathryam. ye tu pitāmahaśabdamapi gaurādiṣu paṭhanti, tanmate vacanamidaṃ svarasato na saṅgacchate. yadi tvanityatvajñāpanameva vacanasya phalamiti brāūṣe, tarhi "ṣidgaure"ti sūtra eva "anityaṃ ṣitaḥ"iti vaktavyaṃ kimanena vakramārgeṇeti dik. daśyate'nayeti daṃṣṭrā. "dāmnīśase"tyādinā karaṇe ṣṭran.
