"halṅyābbhya" ityasya sutisyākṣiptaprakṛtiviśeṣaṇatayā, pratyayagrahaṇaparibhā,yā ca tadantavidhiḥ. tataśca halantācca dīrghaṅyābantācca paramiti labdham. "sutisi" iti samāhāradvandvaḥ. apṛktamiti haliti ca sāmānādhikaraṇyenānveti. ukāre ikāre ca lupte pariśiṣṭaḥ sakārastakāraśca sutisi ityanena vivakṣitaḥ. tataśca halityanena sāmānādhikaraṇyaṃ na virudhyate.
