"parau bhuvo'vajñāne" iti sūtreṇa tiraskārārthe vartamānādaṇyantātparipūrvakabhūdhātorbhāve ghañi paribhāvaśabdasya vyutpattyavagamāt. evaṃ ca taduktīriti tacchabdasya buddhisthaparāmarśitvātprācāṃ prakriyākaumudīprasīdādikṛtāmuktīstiraskṛtyetyartha iti vyākhyānaṃ kliṣṭatvādupekṣitam. anena svagranthasya munitrayagranthānuyāyitvaṃ, prācīnaprakriyākaumudyādigranthānāṃ tadviruddhatvaṃ ca sūcitam. tacca prauḍhamanoramāyāṃ svayameva mūlakṛtā prapañcitameva. vaiyākaraṇasiddhāntakaumudītyanvarthasaṃjñayā vaiyākaraṇasiddhāntāḥpratipādyatvena viṣayāḥ. anāyāsena tadavagamaḥ prayojanam. tasya granthasya ca janyajanakabhāvaḥ saṃbandhaḥ. vaiyakaraṇasiddhāntajijñāsuradhikārīti sūcitam. atha vaiyākaraṇasiddhāntānirūpayiṣyan, vyākaraṇaśāstrasya mūlabhūtāni caturdaśa sūtrāṇi paṭhati--aiuṇityādinā. nanvimāni sūtrāṇi munitrayagranthabarhibhūtatvādapramāṇamityata āha--iti māhe()ārāṇi sūtrāṇīti. mabe()ārādāgatāni māhe()ārāṇi. "prāyaḥ pāpaṃ vijānīyāccittaṃ tasya viśodhana"miti smṛtiḥ. ākṛtigaṇo'yamiti. tena śatātparāṇi paraśśatāni kāryāṇītyādi siddham. iha "supsupe"ti vā, "pañcamī"ti yogavibhāgādvā samāsaḥ. rājadantāditvācchataśabdasya paranipātaḥ, pāraskarāditvātsuṭ. iti tattvabodhinyāṃ samāsāśrayavidhayaḥ.* oṃ śrīgaṇeśāya namaḥ *tattvabodhinī-bālamanoramā-vyākhyādvayavirājitāvaiyākaraṇa-siddhāntakaumudī.-------------------tasyāḥ pūrvādrdham.atha saṃjñāprakaraṇam------------munitrayaṃ-----siddhāntakaumidīvyākhyā kriyate tattvabodhinī॥ 1॥ vighnavighātāya kṛtaṃ maṅgalaṃ śiṣyaśikṣāyai nibadhnaṃścikīrṣitaṃ pratijānīte-munitrayamityādinā. trayo'vayavā yasyeti trayam. "manerucca" ityauṇādikasūtreṇa manerata ukāro maneḥ para in pratyayaśca. guṇastu neha bhavati, kidityanuvartanāt, taparakaraṇādvā. teṣā pāṇinikātyāyanapatañjalīnāṃ trayaṃ minitrayam. nanu "svayaṃbhuve namaskṛtya" ityatrevātrāpi "namaḥsvasti-" ityādinā caturthī syāt. maivam. "upapadavibhakteḥ kārakavibhaktirbalīyasī" iti vakṣyamāṇatvāt "namaskaroti devān" itivaddvitīyāyā eva yuktatvāt. kiṃca "jahatsvārthā vṛttiḥ" iti pakṣe namaḥśabdasyātra nirarthakatvāttadyoge caturthī na bhavati, arthavahyahaṇaparibhāṣāyāḥ pravṛtteḥ. "svayaṃbhuve namaskṛtya" ityatra tu svayaṃbhuvamanukūlayitumityarthavivakṣāyāṃ "kriyārthopapadasya-" ityādinā caturthīti mūla eva sphuṭībhaviṣyati. nacaivaṃ "namaḥsvasti-" iti sūtre namaḥpadaṃ vyarthamiti śaṅkyam, haraye nama ityatra harimanukūlayitumityarthe'vivakṣite saṃbandhasāmānye ṣaṣṭha()āṃ prāptāyāṃ tadapavādatayā tasyāvaśyakatvāt. taduktīriti. teṣāṃpāṇinyādīnāmuktīḥ. sūtravārtikabhāṣyāṇītyarthaḥ. tasya munitrayasyoktīriti vyākhyāne'pi samudāyena sūtraṃ vārtikaṃ bhāṣyaṃ vā noktamiti samudāyināṃ munīnāmevoktīriti paryavasyati.paribhāvyeti. paryālocyetyarthaḥ. naca paripūrvasya bhavatestiraskārārthatvātkathamatra jñānārthateti śaṅkyam, parītyasya bhāvīti curādiṇijantena yogāt. kecidatra bhavatinā yogamabhyupetyāhuḥ-"purau bhuvo'vajñāne" iti sūtre parau bhuva ityasyāvajñāna #iti viśeṣaṇānna tiraskārārthatvaniyamaḥ. "manasā paribhāvya kiṃcit" ityādi-śrīharṣaprayogācca. ataevātrā'prayuktatvadoṣaśaṅkāpi nāstīti. anye tu-"anādaraḥ paribhavaḥ parībhāvastiraskriyā" iti kośātparipūrvakādbhavaterghañantādeva tiraskārapratītirnānyasmādityāśaṅkaivātra nāstītyāhuḥ. tanmandam. paribhūya paribhavatītyato'pi tiraskārapratīteḥ.vaiyākaraṇeti. vyākaraṇamadhīyate vidanti vā vaiyākaraṇāḥ. tatsiddhāntānā kaumudī. prakāśiketyarthaḥ. nirduṣṭasakalajanāhlādakatvasāmyena"kaumidī"śabdaprayogaḥ. kariṣyamāṇāyā api kaumudyā buddhyā saṃnidhāpitatvādiyamityaṅgulyā nirdeśaḥ. viracyata iti. "śalaḥ-" iti ksaḥ. nanu punarhakāropadeśasyāvaśyakatve'pi śarmadhyā eva hakāraṃ paṭhitvā "alo'ntyasya", "halo'nantarāḥ saṃyogaḥ", "jhalo jhali", "śala igupadhā-" ityādisūtrāṇi yāvanti lānubandhāni tāni "aro'ntyasya", "haroṣa()nantarāḥ" ityevaṃrūpeṇa rephānubandhānyeva ca kṛtvā "hal" iti pṛthak sūtraṃ tyajyatām. maivam. tathāhi sati harirhasati harirharirityādi na sidhyet. tatra "kharavasānayorvisarjanīyaḥ", "vā śari" ityādiprasaṅgāt. ato "hal" iti sūtramāvaśyakameva. evañca "haliti sūtre'ntyam-" iti vakṣyamāṇagrantho'pi svarasataḥ saṅgacchate. aṇādisaṃjñārthānīti. aṇādisaṃjñā arthaḥ prayojanaṃ yeṣā tānīti vigrahaḥ. aṇādisaṃjñābhya imāni ityasvapadavigraho vā. "arthena nityasamāso viśeṣyaliṅgatā ca" iti vakṣyamāṇatvāt. eṣāmantyā iti iti. eṣāṃ sūtrāṇāmantyā ṇādayo "halantyam" ityanupadaṃ vakṣyamāṇenetsaṃjñakā ityarthaḥ. laṇsūtre'kāraśceti. anantyatvātpṛthaguktiḥ. vacanavipariṇāmenediti sambadhyate. itsaṃjñā cāsya "upadeśe'janunāsika it" ityanena. evañca ṇādibhiridbhiḥ "ādirantyena-" iti vakṣyamāṇena pratyāhāragrahaṇāt "aṇādisaṃjñārthāni" iti yaduktaṃ tatsaṅgacchat iti bhāvaḥ. akāra uccāraṇārtha iti. natu laṇsūtrasthā'kāra iva prayojanārtha ityarthaḥ.
