tayoḥ sāmānyarūpamabhyavaharaṇam, yathākathaṃcidbhakṣaṇātmakatvāt. pakṣe hisvāviti.
tadhvamorviṣaye kadāciddhisvādeśau pakṣe ityarthaḥ. `piba khādetyabhyavaharate'
tyudāhāryam. atreti. `piba khādetyabhyavaharatī'tyādau
samuccīyamānapānakhādanādikriyāviśeṣāṇāmanuprayujyamānadhātuvācyābhyavaharaṇātamakakriyāsāmānyenā'bhedānvaya
ityarthaḥ. pakṣe saktūniti. samuccaye loḍabhāvapakṣe anuprayogo'pi sāmānyavacanasya
nāstīti bhāvaḥ. eteneti. `samuccaye'nyatarasyā'miti `samuccaye samānyavacanasye'ti ca
sūtradvayena tadudāharaṇapradarśanena ca `purīmavaskande'tyādi māghakāvyasthaṃ ślokavākyaṃ
vyākhyātamityarthaḥ. balī– rāvaṇo, namucidviṣā = indreṇa saha, vigṛhra - virodhaṃ
prāpya, puryāḥ = amarāvatyāḥ, avaskandanaṃ = pīḍanaṃ, nandanavanasya lavanaṃ, ratnānāṃ
moṣaṇam, amarāṅganānāṃ haraṇamityevaṃprakāreṇa ahardivam = ahanyahani, asvāstyaṃ
cakre = kṛtavānityanvayaḥ. itthaṃśabda
itiparyāyo'vaskandanādikriyāviśeṣaṇāmasvasthyakriyāsāmānye'bhedaṃ grāhayati.
phalitamāha– avaskandalavanāditi. ādinā moṣaṇaṃ haraṇaṃ ca gṛhrate. bhramamūlakatvamupapādayati-

tadanuvṛttyabhyupagame bādhakamāha— loḍantasyeti. `samuccaye'nyatarasyā'miti sūtre
`kriyāsamabhihāre' itnuvṛttau `avaskande' tyādiloḍantānāṃ `kriyāsamabhihāre dve
vācye' iti dvitvāpatterityathaḥ. bhrama eveti. madhyamapuruṣāṃ'śe, ekavacanāṃśe ca bhra
evetyarthaḥ. kuta ityata āha– puruṣavacanasaṃjñe iha netyuktatvāditi. atra bhāṣye
hisvāntayoranabhivyaktasaṅkhyākālakatvāttadabhivyaktaye'nuprayogasya nyāyata eva
