The affix ((ṣṭran)), with the sense of instrument, comes after the verbs ((dāpa)) 'to cut', ((nī)) 'to lead', ((śas)) 'to hurt', ((yu)) 'to join', ((yuj)) 'to join', ((stu)) 'to praise', ((tud)) 'to inflict pain', ((si)) 'to bind', ((sic)) 'to sprinkle', ((mih)) 'to urine', ((pat)) 'to fall', ((daś)) 'to bite' and ((nah)) 'to bind'.
