ānāyyo'nitye. , 3.1.127 "ṇyannipātyate" iti. yati prāpte. yadyanitye nipātyate ghaṭādiṣvapyatiprasaṅgaḥ, teṣāmanityatvādityāha-- "rūḍhaḥ" ityādi. satyapi pravṛttinimittatve rūḍha()ā niyataviṣayatvāc()śabdā viśiṣṭa evārthe vatrtante, nāviśiṣṭe, mayūrādiśabdavat. na hi mahrāṃ rautīti sarvo mayūra ityucyate, nāpi gacchatīti sarvo gaurityucyate, kiṃ tarhi? viśiṣṭa eva prāṇī. tasmādrūḍhiśabdāddakṣiṇāgnāveva vatrtate, na ghaṭādiṣu. "ānāyyaḥ" ityetasminnipātanaṃ dakṣiṇāgnāveva viśiṣṭe kṛtaṃ bhavet, nānyatra. liṅa sambhāvanāyām. etat sambhāvyate, nānyathetyarthaḥ. "ekayonau ca taṃ vidyāt" iti. tamānāyyaśabdamāhavanīyena ya ekayonirdakṣiṇāgnistatra vidyājānīyādityarthaḥ. caśabdo'vadhāraṇe-- ekayonāveva. "āneyo hranyathā bhavet" iti. ghaṭādāvanitye dakṣiṇāgnau cāhavanīyena bhinnayonau "aco yat" 3.1.97 iti yati kṛta āneya ityevaṃ bhavati॥.
