`devadattaniṣṭhakṛtijanyaprītyāśrayo hari'rityubhayatra bhedena vākyārthaparyavasānāt.
tasmātprathamāntaviśeṣyakabodhobhāṣyādyanusāribhirnādatrtavya eva. yāsko'pyāha—-
`bhāvapradhānamākhyātaṃ sattvapradhānāni nāmāni'iti. `paśya mṛgo dhāvatī'tyādau tu
bhṛgakartṛkaṃ gamanaṃ dṛśikriyaiva. uktaṃ ca—`subantaṃ hi yathā'nekaṃ, tiṅntasya
viśeṣaṇam. tathā tiṅantamapyāhustiṅantasya viśeṣaṇam'iti. na ca laukikaprayogeṣu
tiṅantasya katiṅantaviśeṣaṇatvaṃ durlabhamiti mantavyam. `purīmavaskanda lunīhi
nandanam'iti māghaślokasya puryavaskandananandanalavanādirūpā asvāsthyakriyetyartha iti
`samuccaye'nyatarasyām'iti sūtre mūle sphuṭībhaviṣyamāṇatvāt. evaṃ ca `pacati–
bhavatī'tyasya pacikriyā bhavatītyartho bhāṣyamate bodhya iti dika. abhihite tviti.
nanvevaṃ `pakvamodanaṃ bhuṅkte'ityatrāpi dvitīyā na syāditi cet. maivam. iha hi
pācebhujinirūpite dve karmatvaśaktī, tatra pradhānabhūtabhujikriyānirūpitāmanabhihitāṃ
śaktimādāya dvitīyatpatteḥ. ataeva `āsane āste'ityatra saptamī saṅgacchate.
lyuṭā'dhikaraṇatvasyoktatve'pi
tiṅantopasthāpyakriyānirūpitādhikaraṇatvasyānuktatvāt. śatya iti. `śatācca
ṭhanyatāśate'iti yat. prāptānanda iti. iha `gatyarthākarmake'ti kartari ktaḥ.
ānandakartṛkaprāptikarmībhūtaityarthaḥ. yaduktaṃ `prāyeṇa'ti tasya phalamāha–
kvacinnipāteneti. viṣavṛkṣa iti. `saṃvadhrye'tyatra `chettumityatra
cārthadviṣavṛkṣamiti gamyata it dhyeyam. yujyata ityartha iti. etena nipātānāṃ
dyotakatvameveti niyamo nāstīti dhvanitam. tathā yuktam. tathetyukte kathaṃ yuktamiti
jijñāsāyāmāha–.
