tṛtīyāntaṃ vivakṣitam. `tatkṛte'ti luptatṛtīyākaṃ bhinnaṃ padam. tacchabdena
tṛtīyāntaparāmarśinā tadartho lakṣyate. tatkṛtetyetacca guṇadvārā guṇavacane'nveti.
tataśca `tṛtīyāntaṃ tṛtīyāntārthakṛto yo guṇastadvācinā samasyate' `arthaśabdena ca
tṛtīyāntaṃ samasyeti' iti vākyadvayaṃ saṃpadyata iti bhāṣye sthitat. tadāha–
