paṅkaja पङ्कज
Definition: n. flower of the day lotus (nelumbium speciosum, which closes in the evening): -nâbha, a. having a lotus in his navel (Vishnu), -netra, a. lotus-eyed, -mâlin, a. adorned with a wreath of lotuses, epithet of Vishnu; -½akshî, f. lotus-eyed woman; -½a&ndot;ghri, a. whose feet are adorned with lotuses (Vishnu).
