asya citrasya haritavarṇīyā pṛṣṭhabhūmiḥ atīva manohāriṇī asti।

kābhyaścit ghaṭanābhyaḥ pūrvaṃ ghaṭitāḥ tāḥ ghaṭanāḥ yāḥ pūrvaṃ jñātāḥ cet eva nūtanāḥ ghaṭanāḥ nūtanān viṣayān vā jñātuṃ śakyate।

asyāḥ ghaṭanāyāḥ pṛṣṭhabhūmiṃ kathayatu tadā eva vayaṃ kimapi jñātuṃ śaknumaḥ।

bhagnapṛṣṭha   

bhagnaḥ kaśerukaḥ yasya saḥ।

anayā oṣadhyā bhagnapṛṣṭhasya manuṣyasya haḍḍam satvaraṃ saṃyunakti।

kīkasāsthi, pṛṣṭhavaṃśagranthiḥ, pṛṣṭhavaṃśasandhiḥ, pṛṣṭhavaṃśosthiḥ   

pṛṣṭhavaṃśasya pratyekam asthi।

manuṣyasya pṛṣṭhavaṃśe trayastriṃśat kīkasāsthīni santi।

gaḍupṛṣṭhaḥ, kubja, gaḍulaḥ, kubjakaḥ, vakrapṛṣṭha   

yasya pṛṣṭhe gaḍuḥ asti।

ekaḥ gaḍupṛṣṭhaḥ daṇḍasya ādhāreṇa calati।

paṭalam, valīkam, nīvram, valabhīḥ, cālaḥ, chadiḥ, chadi, chādam, gṛha-pṛṣṭham   

gṛhacālikāntabhāgaḥ।

paṭaleṣu anviṣyan idaṃ kāvyaṃ mayā vihitam

uṣṭraḥ, karabhaḥ, dāserakaḥ, dīrghagrīvaḥ, dhūsaraḥ, lamboṣṭhaḥ, ravaṇaḥ, mahājaṅghaḥ, javī, jāṅghikaḥ, kramelakaḥ, mayaḥ, mahāṅgaḥ, dīrghagatiḥ, dīrghaḥ, śṛṅkhalakaḥ, mahān, mahāgrīvaḥ, mahānādaḥ, mahādhvagaḥ, mahāpṛṣṭhaḥ, baliṣṭhaḥ, dīrghajaṅghaḥ, grīvī, dhūmrakaḥ, śarabhaḥ, kramelaḥ, kaṇṭakāśanaḥ, bholiḥ, bahukaraḥ, adhvagaḥ, marudvipaḥ, vakragrīvaḥ, vāsantaḥ, kulanāśaḥ, kuśanāmā, marupriyaḥ, dvikakut, durgalaṅghanaḥ, bhūtaghnaḥ, dāseraḥ, kelikīrṇaḥ   

paśuviśeṣaḥ- yaḥ prāyaḥ marusthale dṛśyate।

tena uṣṭraṃ datvā uṣṭrī krītā।

hastasya pṛṣṭhabhāgaḥ।

tasya karapṛṣṭhe vraṇaḥ jātaḥ।
