oṣadhimūlaviśeṣaḥ। haridrā nāma oṣadheḥ pītavarṇīyāni mūlāni ye janaiḥ pākādiṣu vyañjanatvena upayujyante। raktaśuddhikaratvāt te bheṣaje tathā ca dehavarṇavidhāyitvāt ca prasādhakeṣu upayujyante।

haridrāyāḥ lepena tvakśuddhiḥ bhavati।

yena snānaṃ kṛtam।

snātaḥ puruṣaḥ rañjanakrīḍayā śaṅkate।

jale vā dravapadārthe vā āplavanapreraṇānukūlaḥ vyāpāraḥ।

mahātmā jalaṃ pātuṃ kamaṇḍaluṃ nadyām amajjayat।

yasya yogyatāyogyatayoḥ samyak vicāraḥ kṛtaḥ।

etat prakaraṇaṃ suvimarśitam asti।

svayaṃ jale nimajjya vastūni yaḥ śodhayati।

vigāhakena naike majjikāḥ yātriṇaḥ rakṣitāḥ।

jalena āpūraṇānukūlaḥ vyāpāraḥ।

sakṛt bhūtā prāvṛṭ grāmān majjayati।

yaḥ jñātuṃ sukaraḥ nāsti।

asya kaṭhinasya praśnasya samādhānaṃ praśnakartāram eva praṣṭavyam।

snānam, avagāhaḥ, avagāhanam, āplavaḥ, āplāvaḥ, abhiṣekaḥ   

jalena kliditvā ātape upaviśya vā śarīrasya nirmalīkaraṇam।

snānena rogāṇuḥ naśyati।

hastināpuram, nāgāhvaḥ, hāstinam, gajāhvayam, gajāhvam, gajasāhvayam, hastinīpuram   

paurāṇikaṃ nagaraṃ yad idānīntanīyāyāḥ dehalyāḥ pañcāśatkilomīṭaraparimitaṃ dūraṃ vartate।

hastināpuraṃ rājñā hastinā sthāpitam āsīt।

avagāhanam   

jale nimajya snānasya kriyā।

ṛṣayaḥ prātaḥkāle avagāhanasya kṛte nadīṃ gacchanti sma।

avagāhita   

yasmin snānaṃ kriyate।

avagāhitaṃ jalaṃ dūṣitam asti iti āśaṅkā vartate।

gāharṭjaparimāṇam   

tad parimāṇaṃ yena vidyuta-cumbakīya-taraṅgān mīyate।

etat saṃsādhanaṃ 1:6 gīgāharṭjaparimāṇasya asti।

ekaḥ puruṣaḥ ।

nagāhvayasya ullekhaḥ mahābhārate asti
