rāmasya vanagamanād anantaram sakalā ayodhyānagarī śokam anvabhavat।

vyath, pīḍ, kliś, bādh, duḥkhaya, saṃtap, khid   

manasi duḥkhasya anubhavanānukūlaḥ vyāpāraḥ।

bhavatāṃ kāryaiḥ aham atīva vyathe।

utpīḍanam, pradharṣanā, pīḍanam, avamardaḥ, duḥkhanam   

pīḍanasya kriyā।

śvaśuragṛhajanaiḥ kṛtena utpīḍanena udvignā jātā rāgiṇī ātmaghātam akarot।

du, śuc, khid, pīḍaya, bādh, kliś, vyathaya, upatap, saṃtap, santap, paritap, āyas, udvij, duḥkhaya   

duḥkhānubhūtyanukūlaḥ vyāpāraḥ।

mṛtaḥ puruṣaḥ kadāpi na pratyāgacchati bhavān mā dauṣīḥ।

duḥkha

anātmakaduḥkham   

jainamatānusāreṇa dvayoḥ lokayoḥ duḥkham।

īśvarabhaktiḥ eva anātmakaduḥkhāt trāyate।
