dhānaṃjayya ‘Descendant of Dhanam-jaya,’ is the patronymic of Amśu in the Vamśa Brāhmana.
upadhāna Denotes the * cushion * of a seat (Ásandī) in the Atharvaveda. It corresponds to the Upabarhana of other texts.
nividdhāna ‘Containing a Nivid,’ is found several times as an epithet of a hymn or verse in the Brāhmanas.

bhagavān bhaktāya varaṃ datvā tirodhānaṃ kṛtavān।

dhāna

pradhānamadhyasthaḥ, mukhyapramāṇapuruṣaḥ, śreṣṭhī   

stheyagaṇeṣu pradhānaḥ puruṣaḥ।

stheyagaṇaiḥ saṃvādaṃ kṛtvā pradhānamadhyasthaḥ svanirṇayam aśrāvayat।

dhāna

upādhiḥ, abhidhānam, padanāma   

kasyacit padasya viśeṣaṃ nāma।

brigeḍiyara iti ekaḥ upādhiḥ asti।

dhāna

sarvotkṛṣṭakarma, uttamakarma, atyuttamakarma, anupamakarma, atyutkṛṣṭakarma, paramakarma, pradhānakarma, śobhā   

kalākārasya uttamā racanā।

tājamahala iti ekaḥ sarvotkṛṣṭakarma asti।

dhāna

pradhānanyāyādhīśaḥ, mukhyanyāyādhīśaḥ   

maṇḍalādeḥ nyāyālayeṣu pradhānaḥ nirṇāyakaḥ।

uccatamasya nyāyālayasya pañcatriṃśattamaḥ mukhyanyāyādhīśaḥ rameśacandra lāhotī sādagī mahodayaḥ।

dhāna

sāvadhānatā, dakṣatā, avadhānam, avekṣā   

sāvadhānasya avasthā bhāvaḥ vā।

sāvadhānatayā mārgaḥ laṅghanīyaḥ।

dhāna

anuṣṭhānam, ācaraṇam, vidhānam, karaṇam, sampādanam, niṣpattiḥ, siddhiḥ, nirvāhaḥ, nirvahaṇam   

suyogyarītyā kāryasya samāpanam।

asya kāryasya anuṣṭhānaṃ samyakatayā jātam।

dhāna

vidhiḥ, vidhānam, rītiḥ, paddhatiḥ   

kāryasañcālanasya praṇāliḥ।

iha saṃsāre sarvaṃ niyateḥ vidhim anusṛtya eva pracalati।

dhāna

dhaniṣṭhā, śraviṣṭhā, vasudaivatā, bhūtiḥ, nidhānam, dhanavatī   

aśvinyādisaptaviṃśatinakṣatrāntargatatrayoviṃśannakṣatram।

pañcatārakāyuktaṃ nakṣatraṃ bhavati dhaniṣṭhā yat navasu ūrdhvanakṣatreṣu vartate।

dhāna

vyavadhānam   

vibhāgādīn kartuṃ nirmitā bhittikā।

janāḥ vyavadhānam ullaṅghayitvā udyāne āgatāḥ।

dhāna

adarśanam, adṛśyatā, adṛśyaṃ, apavāsaḥ, tirohitatvam, antardhiḥ, tirohitatā, luptatā, antardhānam, tirobhāvaḥ, lopaḥ, apavāsaḥ, tirodhānam, ḍhakkā, jyāni, nimluktiḥ   

kriyāviśeṣaḥ sahasā antardhānam;

adarśanañca te vīra bhūyo māṃ tāpayiṣyati

dhāna

mukhya, pradhāna, pramukha, mūla   

yaḥ atīvāvaśyakaḥ।

asmākaṃ śarīrasya pañca mukhyāni tattvāni santi।

anveṣaṇasya bandhanasya ca kriyā yā sātatyena pracalati।

rāgaviśeṣaḥ।

svarapradhāne svarasya pradhānatā vartate na tu tālasya।

mukhya, pramukha, pradhāna, prakṛṣṭa   

yaḥ sarvādhikaṃ mahatvapūrṇam asti।

mukhyāḥ taraṅgāḥ gauṇebhyaḥ taraṅgebhyaḥ vegavantaḥ santi।

yogakṣemaḥ, kṣemavidhānakaraṇam   

tat dhanaṃ yat it anena uddeśyena śāsakīye kośe samāniveśyate yena tasya vṛddhiḥ samāniveśakasya parivārāya labhyate।

teṣāṃ sārdhaikaṃ lakṣaṃ kṣemavidhānakaraṇam asti।

dhāna

asaṃyata, ucchṛṅkhala, nirādhāna, niraṅkuśa   

yasya pragrahaḥ na vartate।

saḥ vīratāyāḥ pradarśanāya asaṃyatasya aśvasya rohaṇam akarot।

vidhānasabhā   

lokatantrasya śāsane janatāyāḥ pratinidhīnāṃ sā sabhā yā deśasya vikāsāya vidhānānāṃ siddhāntānāṃ ca niścayaṃ karoti।

vidhānasabhāyāṃ saṃśodhanasya parivartanasya vicārāḥ bhavanti।

dhāna

atyādhānam, āropaṇam, sthāpanā   

nūtanasya niyamasya karasya vā prastuteḥ kriyā।

nūtanena sarvakāreṇa nūtanānāṃ karāṇām atyādhānaṃ kṛtam।

ekaḥ paurāṇikaḥ puruṣaḥ।

mahābhāratasya yuddhe sātyakiḥ pāṇḍavānāṃ dale yuddham akarot।

kavardhānagare purātattvaśāstreṇa sambaddhāḥ bahavaḥ avaśeṣāḥ prāptāḥ।

vardhānagare gāndhīmahodayasya āśramaḥ asti।

kasyāpi deśasya saḥ mantrī yena pradhānamantriṇaḥ anupasthitau mantrimaṇḍalasya sabhāyāḥ sabhāpatitvam ūhyate tathā pradhānamantriṇe rugṇe sati athavā tasya mṛtyau jāte tasya dhuraṃ vahati।

vartamāne śāsane upapradhānamantrī nāsti।

bhāratīya-antarikṣa-anusandhāna-kendram   

bhāratasarvakārasya saṃsthā yā antarikṣeṇa sambaddham anusandhānaṃ karoti tathā tasmin sahāyyaṃ karoti।

bhāratīya-antarikṣa-anusandhāna-kendreṇa naikeṣām upagrahāṇāṃ nirmitiḥ kṛtā।

rakṣāsambaddham anusandhānārthaṃ tathā vikāsārthaṃ yā saṃsthā kāryaṃ karoti।

mohanaḥ rakṣā-anusandhānam-tathā-vikāsa-saṅghaṭane kāryarataḥ asti।

vidhānapariṣad   

keṣucit bhāratīyeṣu rājyeṣu lokatantrasya ekā pratinidhisabhā yasyāḥ sadasyāḥ apratyakṣanirvācanadvārā nirvācitāḥ bhavanti tathā ca kecana sadasyāḥ rājyapāladvārā niyuktāḥ bhavanti।

vidhānapariṣad vidhānamaṇḍalasya ekam aṅgam asti yasyāḥ sadasyānāṃ kāryakālaḥ ṣaṇṇāṃ varṣāṇāṃ bhavati।

dhāna

vidhānabhavanam   

tad bhavanaṃ yatra vidhānasabhāyāḥ sabhā bhavati।

ekena manuṣyeṇa vidhānabhavanasya purataḥ ātmaghātasya prayāsaḥ kṛtaḥ।

pradhānasaṃsādhanāṅgam   

saṅgaṇakasya ekaḥ bhāgaḥ।

pradhānasaṃsādhanāṅgena vinā saṅgaṇakaḥ kāryaṃ kartuṃ na śaknoti।

pradhānamantriṇaḥ kāryālayaḥ।
