hindūnāṃ darśanānaṣaṭkam।

ṣaḍdarśane sāṅkhyayoganyāyavaiśeṣikamīmāṃsāvedāntāḥ ityetāni darśanāni santi।

ṣaḍrasaḥ   

rasāṇāṃ ṣaṭkam।

madhuralavaṇatiktakaṣāyāmlakaṭavaḥ ityete ṣaḍrasāḥ santi।

ṣaḍakṣarīdevaḥ   

ekaḥ lekhakaḥ ।

ṣaḍakṣarīdevasya ullekhaḥ vivaraṇapustikāyām asti

ṣaḍ

ṣaḍgurubhāṣyam   

ekaḥ ṭīkāgranthaḥ ।

ṣaḍgurubhāṣyasya ullekhaḥ koṣe asti

ṣaḍ

ṣaḍrathaḥ   

ekaḥ rājā ।

ṣaḍrathasya ullekhaḥ harivaṃśe asti

ṣaḍ

ṣaḍaśītiḥ   

granthanāmaviśeṣaḥ ।

naikeṣāṃ granthānāṃ nāma ṣaḍaśīti iti vartate

ṣaḍ

khoṣaḍahaḥ   

ekaṃ maṇḍalam ।

khoṣaḍahasya varṇanaṃ kṣitīśa-vaṃśāvalī-carite samupalabhyate
